Cheung Chau II

Our member had generally introduced Cheung Chau before.

So this time I would like to show you some specific place which didn’t cover before.

Let’s start our trip now!

First, we went to Central Pier to take the ferry!

Pier number 5 is to Cheung Chau !!!

Inside the ferry~


You can eating on the ferry, because i didnt had lunch so bought some dim sum =]


You can enjoy the view (sea and sun) during the time on the ferry



After an hour, we arrived^^ the Pier of Cheung Chau !!!


Beside it, there were many ship stop here



Many tourist like to take photos here, let me took once :p cheerse : )


Here is the main street of the Cheung Chau! you can see many shop here! if you want to stay overnight, you can rent the house here too. the price may around 250~350 per night bases on which level of house you rent!


Most of the house are designed in three floor, the first floor to be the shop/restaurant, second floor and the third floor for people live.


These houses are for people rent, the house on the right hand side are have great sea and beach view


After that, kimkim was so hungry. I went to "陳記魚旦粉" to have lunch! this shop is very famus in Cheung Chau, it is always introduced by artists on TV! Yummy~


Next, i went to shop around and focus on this shop, it has many different item and the boss is willing to introsuce each item to his customers bovine.

I bought this one^^

Someone told me i must try the "紅豆餅" of this shop!

It is cute and taste good^^

There were so many my favourable food at night!!!! dont miss it!!!!

The Avenue of Stars 星光大道

To pay tribute to outstanding professionals of Hong Kong's film industry, to promote tourism industry, and to consolidate Hong Kong's position as Asia's World City, the Avenue of Stars which is located at the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade was given a glittering official opening on 27 April 2004. It was opened to the public and visitors from all over the world from 28 April 2004 onwards.

The Hong Kong Film Awards Association Limited, together with its member societies (including the City Entertainment Magazine), are responsible for the election of film professionals to be honoured at the Avenue of Stars. The Hong Kong Film Awards Association Limited will nominate film professionals as additions to the existing list on a regular basis in future.

I think this is a interesting attraction in Hong Kong. You can see many fingerprint of pop stars on the ground everywhere. It not just the pop stars in Hong Kong but also international pop stars. Tourist can take photos with the fingerprint of their favourite pop stars. I got fun to compare the hand size with the fingerprint. I am so superised that Sammo Hung's hand is so big! Also, I think the night view of The Avenue of Stars is more attractive. It will be lit up in the evening. Its apecial lighting effect will turb the Avenue to a glittering galaxy. It looks like many stars on the floor! This make me so impressive. Moreover, there are some statues such as The Hong Kong film Awards statue for tourist taking photos and memorizing extract of Hong Kong films. It's actually a good place to admire the view of Victoria Hour eiter.

How to get there?

Tips:
I perfer to get there in the evening because there will be some shows and performance hold in the evening such as singing by bands. As I said, I think the night view of The Avenue of Stars is more exticing!

Stanley is a popular spot. Stanley is a lovely peninsula town in southwest Hong Kong Island. There are two beautiful beaches and famous dry market. Stanley has a lot of attractions such as Stanley Prison, Murray House and Tin Hau Temple.

Feeling

Stanley Market is the place which most attractive. The ever popular Stanley Market is situated in Stanley New Street near the Stanley food market. It is a fair of small shops and street stalls flaunting handicrafts and souvenirs rich in local flavour. You will find an interesting array of little shops selling silk garments, sportswear, art, Chinese costume jewelry and souvenirs.

Now the Stanley prison becomes Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum. It is opening for visitors. You can see what the life of prisoner is.

Moreover, you can see oldest and classical architecture style building—Murray House. Today Murray House is become a restaurant and Hong Kong Maritime Museum.

Come to Stanley. Stanley can let you know more about Hong Kong History.

How get there:

You can catch one in Central from the bus terminal at Exchange Square. Take route 66, 6, 6A, 6X and 260

Point to notes:

1) 6, 6X and 66 have final departures at approximately 19:30.
2) Only 260 offer late night departures from Stanley after approximately 22:00.
