Pottinger Street 砵甸乍街 17/10/2010

In Hong Kong, most of the street made of concrete. But Central has a street made of granite stone. It was originally on the slope between Queen's Road Central and Hollywood Road. The street called Pottinger Street. The name come the first Governor of Hong Kong, Henry Pttinger. It also called Stone Slabs Street.
There are a numerous shop on both side of the stone slabs. The shop's products will be changed on each occasion.
Feeling:
The road made of granite stone give me the old-fashioned feeling. The shop's product is very interesting.
The shop’s products are very interesting. Maybe the Halloweed getting close, a lot of shops are selling the cosplay clothes and the Halloweed decorations. The Halloweed is coming, come here to get the favourite thing to welcome Halloweed.

How to get there:
Pottinger Street can be accessed by walking within 15 minutes walking distance from the Hong Kong MTR station. Hong Kong Station Exit C à Walk along the Connaught Road by south west à turn right walk to Des Voeux Road about 86meterà then arrive Pottinger Street

Point to note:
1) Pottinger Street is very scraggly. Don't wear high heel shoes. Wear sport shoes is more convenience.
